Overview

UI / UX Design, explained.

UI/UX design is the practice of shaping how a product works (user experience) and how it looks and feels (user interface). Good design reduces support requests, increases conversion and makes complex software feel simple.

Our design process is research-led and tested: we observe real users, map their goals, prototype quickly and validate before anything is built. Everything we hand over is developer-ready, with components, states and accessibility notes.

AI products need design of their own: showing what an assistant can and can’t do, displaying sources, handling uncertainty and keeping people in control of automated actions. We design those patterns every day.

Design decisions are measured rather than guessed. We define success metrics such as task completion, time to value or conversion, test with users, and revisit designs after launch using analytics and feedback.

What we deliver

UI / UX Design services we deliver.

  • User research

Interviews, usability tests and analytics reviews that reveal what users need and where they struggle.

  • Flows & wireframes

User journeys and low-fidelity layouts that settle structure before visual polish.

  • Interactive prototypes

Clickable prototypes for testing ideas with users and stakeholders before development.

  • Visual & motion design

Distinctive interfaces and purposeful animation that reinforce your brand without slowing users down.

  • Design systems

Reusable components, tokens and guidelines that keep products consistent as they grow.

  • UX for AI products

Patterns for assistants, citations, confidence, approvals and feedback in AI-powered software.

Use cases

Where it creates real value.

  • SaaS dashboards

Clear information hierarchy for data-heavy screens, with onboarding that gets new users to value fast.

  • Mobile apps

Thumb-friendly navigation, readable typography and flows designed for interruptions and small screens.

  • Education platforms

Learning experiences that motivate progress with clear paths, feedback and achievements.

  • AI assistants

Chat and copilot interfaces that show sources, admit uncertainty and keep users in control.

How we deliver

A clear path from idea to launch.

  1. Understand

Stakeholder workshops, user interviews and a review of analytics and support tickets.

  2. Structure

Information architecture, key flows and wireframes agreed with your team.

  3. Design & prototype

High-fidelity screens and prototypes, tested with users and refined in short loops.

  4. Hand off & support

Developer-ready specs and design system, plus design support during the build.

What you receive

  • Research findings and user journey maps
  • Wireframes and an interactive prototype
  • High-fidelity designs for every screen and state
  • Design system with reusable components
  • Developer handoff with accessibility notes

UI / UX Design FAQ

Common questions.

Answers to what clients ask most about our ui / ux design services.

UX (user experience) design is about how a product works: the flows, structure and ease of reaching a goal. UI (user interface) design is about how it looks and feels: layout, typography, colour, components and motion. Good products need both.

Yes. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, including colour contrast, keyboard navigation, focus states, readable text sizes and support for reduced motion.

Yes. We start with research and an audit of the current product, then improve it in stages so users aren’t disrupted and results can be measured.

Both. We can deliver design only, with developer-ready handoff, or design and build the product with our engineering team.

Yes. We design conversational interfaces, source and citation displays, confidence indicators, approval steps and feedback controls, so users understand what the AI is doing and stay in control of it.

We share designs in Figma with components, states, spacing and accessibility notes, join sprint reviews to answer questions, and check the built product against the designs before release.
